REPS energetic team of personal trainers motivate and guide you for improved health, fitness and well-being. With backgrounds in physiology, anatomy, injury prevention, monitoring exercise intensity, nutrition, psychology and motivation  the trainers at REPS utilize the latest techniques to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. They design a workout program and an exercise regimen which fits your lifestyle. Your workouts are always supervised and recorded.  

The REPS trainers continue to update their expertise through ACE (American Council of Exercise), Life Extension Foundation, Harvard Medical Newsletter, Tufts University Diet & Nutrition as well as many international fitness seminars  and continuing education studies and workshops. REPS is a business member of IDEA  (International Association of Fitness Professionals).

Personal training sessions at REPS are one-on-one or shared by two.         
Small group classes are offered weekly in Mat Pilates, SPINNING indoor cycling, and Yoga Stretch.

Kristin begun her fitness career in 1980 in Huntington Beach, California. From 1985 to 1990 she helped manage Body Design for Women in Newport Beach, and trained and set up programs for its clientele. Until moving to Maui in 2005 Kristin owned and operated an in-home training services company.

Sara Turner

Sara TurnerPilates Instructor

Sara began dancing ballet at the age of three. This is when her love of movement and fitness began. Sara taught dance in high school and added jazz, tap, modern, tango, and ballroom dance to her repertoire as she went through college. After graduating with a BFA in 3d computer animation from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Sara found a love of Pilates and began to pursue her education in becoming a STOTT PILATES instructor. She is trained to teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels. Sara has also completed the STOTT PILATES Injury and Special Populations course and has been teaching pilates since August 2006.

Karol Krauser

  • Certifications and training from the International Thai Massage Institute in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Agama Yoga Institute in Rishikesh India - June & July 2002.

Coming from an athletic background Karol's beginning in the areas of health and fitness began at the early age. Activities ranging from weight lifting, martial arts, yoga, triathlons and competitive running have given him a wide spectrum of experiences. As a trainer and instructor he has worked with people from diverse and varied backgrounds, including professional dancers, martial artist, military personnel, seniors, children, and special populations. Karol believes that the fitness field provides a never ending challenge to keep learning and increasing ones knowledge. Continuing studies and education in massage therapy, sports medicine, and special populations have added to a well rounded and applicable knowledge base. Living a very active lifestyle Karol has a first hand understanding of working with injuries and limitations while overcoming challenges as they appear throughout our lives.

I believe that by utilizing basic components of fitness such as strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular training with alternative modalities one can develop a myriad of functional, fun, and safe exercise routines as they apply to each client and their individual needs.

Pamela Serwatowski

Pamela SerwatowskiFitness Trainer

  •  AFAA (American Fitness and Aerobic Association) - Aerobic Instructor

Pamela has worked in the fitness industry for over 30 years. She ran her own training business 1985 - 1996. She taught a variety of health and fitness classes at Rancho La Puerta, Tecate, Mexico, 1999 - 2000. Pamela was a co-owner and Creative Director of a dance production company, The Impresario Dance Art, 2000 - 2002. She also worked as a trainer at Frogs Club One and at La Jolla Sports Club, specializing in Adult and Senior fitness clientele.

Pamela's own personal fitness highlights have been choreographing and performing in fitness shows and bodybuilding contests, including Ms. Fitness, Ms. USA, Ms. World, The Iron Maiden, Ms. Universe and Woman Athlete of the Year.

To joyfully motivate others to consistently maintain balance throughout each day, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Mark Ghazal

As part of his personal training education Mark completed a 32-hour training program with Dr. Fred Hatfield, one-on-one, covering all aspects of sports nutrition and exercise science, power lifting, periodization, Olympic training, biomechanics, and kinesiology.

1997 - 2005 Mark worked as a personal trainer at Balanced Fitness (Pelham, NY), MAC (Mt. Kisco, NY), Personal Wellness Center (Somers, NY), Evolution Fitness Club (Mahopac, NY), and Equinox Fitness Club (Scardale, NY). Since moving to Maui in 2005 Mark has contracted his services for REPS Training Center in Wailea.

Focus on balance and integration of body, mind, and spirit to supply the best in cutting edge fitness and health science and nutrition information to clients.

Rachel Schwimmer

Rachel SchwimmerYoga Instructor

Rachel believes that at its core, yoga is a transformative practice that leads us to more awareness, more joy, and an open heart. In her classes, she strives to create an environment where students both challenge and nurture themselves. Her classes are a dynamic mixture of Ashtanga yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Larry Schultz's Rocket, pranayama, vinyasa, deep restorative asana, and the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras. She encourages her students to continually deepen their practice and to discover the subtleties of pranayama, bandhas, concentration, and meditation.

Rachel has been teaching yoga to adults and children for the past four years after receiving her certification from It's Yoga in the traditions of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. A natural lover of all things movement, she enjoys AcroYoga, dance, ballet, aerial arts and often weaves those disciplines into her classes. Rachel believes strength, peace and wisdom reside within, and that yoga is a celebration of life. Rachel continues to enjoy sharing the magical gift of yoga with her wonderful students and is eternally grateful yoga has lead her to beautiful Maui.
